Henry and Sarah had 11 children; John and 7 other boys and 3 girls. 3 of the boys were triplets who died at birth. John was their 2nd child.
The will of Sarah Hance of Panfield 30 April 1690 leaves to “Son John Hance of Rayne; his owne son Henry Hance; my brother Philip Heard; my daughter Sarah Hance; my daughter Mary; my daughter Elizabeth; my son Jonas; and my son William.”
