A Lament for Two Men. Two men were friends. One was a tattoo artist-- A writer on epidermis. The other was a poet-- A writer on papyrus. Each performed his art Constantly. So involved was each In his medium, they talked Only occasionally, distantly, But had no time to visit. Is art and income More important Than time for friendship? Balance, Friend, balance.
