Jonathan the Engineer (From a 4 July 2026 Davis Neighbors messages.) "I had the pleasure of meeting Jonathan today. Jonathan invited us over to celebrate the 250th-year anniversary of America and view his Lionel train sets. Beautiful! Jonathan has a great setup for his trains. We all had a piece of cake! Thanks again, Jonathan!" I answered the email: "What a sweet and nice message. I grew up with American Flyer under my father's guidance. His father was a conductor ('the boss of the train') on the B and O. We visited him and he took us children to see the great 'Big Boy,' Mallet (2-6-6-2) (pronounced 'malley'--French).
